I was born for this profession. I’ve felt a deep connection to tattoos for as long as I can remember—almost like I’ve lived and breathed them since I first understood the concept. When I was in first grade and my teacher asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I’d always say, “A tattoo artist.” Her response was always the same: “Oh, honey,” with a look of concern that I’ll never forget.
I’ve been tattooing for nearly 18 years, and it’s been the only career I’ve ever truly dreamed of. After completing my apprenticeship with one of the industry's legends, Donald Nolan at Acme Tattoo on the east side of St. Paul, I realized my ultimate goal. All that’s left now is to live it fully.
I grew up in a small town, but after high school, I moved to the Twin Cities to attend the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul. Though I didn't find my place there, it led me to discover tattooing, which quickly became my true passion. I started with a kit from Tattoo Magazine, and nearly a decade later, I’m now a full-time artist, offering custom tattoos and turning clients’ visions into reality.
